    Since meeting in Landem, London in 2016, Calva Louise has been constantly experimenting and seeking new sounds to incorporate into their music.

    Composed of Jess Allanic on guitar and vocals, Alizon Taho on bass and Ben Parker on drums, the band with their eclectic background has played sold out shows in the UK and Europe. The three have also opened for world-renowned artists such as Razorlight, Albert Hammond Jr. and Highly Suspect.

    Calva Louise has released two albums so far (RHINOCEROS in 2019 and EUPHORIC in 2021), several singles and EPs and a few collaborations, the last one being “Throne” with Italian musician and producer Mazare. To accompany EUPHORIC and to link the story of the first album to that of the upcoming songs, Calva Louise produced and directed, a year ago, a 45-minute hybrid film, mixing the band’s appearance with animated scenes created by Jess using Blender and After Effects software. A trilogy which will be completed very soon by a third part according to Jess.

      La croissance que connaît Calva Louise n'est pas seulement à grande échelle, mais aussi au niveau musical : le trio qui a émergé à Candem (Londres) continue de rechercher et d'étudier de nouveaux sons et de les incorporer dans leur musique. Il l'a démontré avec son premier album Rhinoceros (2019) mais aussi avec Euphoric (2021), les deux volets d'une trilogie qui s'achèvera avec une sortie prochaine, sans date encore à confirmer, mais en cours.

      “CALVA LOUISE THE MULTICULTURAL BRITISH BAND!”

      Hailing from three different continents and aiming at London’s underground live scene, Venezuelan guitarist and vocalist Jess and French bassist Alizon had an explosive musical encounter with British/New Zealander drummer Ben Parker. A mix of cultures driven by the creative vision of Jess, gave its identity to Calva Louise since their beginning ending 2016.
