Ditonellapiaga, pseudonym of Margherita Carducci, is a singer-songwriter and musician with an innovative and chameleonic style, capable of embodying the infinite nuances of the female soul without reducing femininity to a singular image. She navigates between genres and sounds with versatility. After the single “Parli” (2019), in 2020 she released “Per un’ora d’amore”, a cover of the iconic song by Matia Bazar, marking her debut with BMG Italy/Dischi Belli. This was followed by the singles “Morphina” and “Spreco di Potenziale”. In April 2021, her first EP “Morsi” was released, and in the fall of the same year, she was chosen as the second Italian female artist for Breakthrough by Amazon Music. At the beginning of 2022, she became the first artist selected by Apple Music Up Next. In January 2022, preceded by the single “Non ti perdo mai”, co-written with Fulminacci, she released her debut album “Camouflage”, which won the Targa Tenco award for “Best Debut Work.” In February of the same year, she participated in the Sanremo Festival with the song “Chimica” in a duet with Donatella Rettore. Between late April and June 2024, she was a guest of Ornella Vanoni during the event-concerts “Senza Fine, and in May, she performed at the *Concerto del Primo Maggio* in Rome. Among the latest news of the past year is *FLASH*, her new music project released on May 10, 2024, for BMG/Dischi Belli, preceded by the singles *Fossi come te*, *È tutto vero*, *Mary*, and *Tu con me hai chiuso*. The album features valuable collaborations with Coma_Cose, Gaia, Fulminacci, and singer-songwriter Whitemary. The tracks from the new album, along with Margherita’s most iconic pieces, will be presented during the “FLASH TOUR 2024”, a series of unmissable outdoor events produced by Magellano Concerti, which kicked off in May ’24 with sold-out shows.
