Formed in the early 1990’s, the band consists of Amber Valentine on guitar and Edgar Livengood on drums, who are otherwise married. They are known for their nomadic lifestyle and almost constant touring. Jucifer’s musical style is frequently described as “a mix of Portishead and Black Sabbath or the Melvins.”
