LSD and the Search for God, the Californian psychedelic/shoegaze band formed in 2005, quickly established themselves on the underground scene thanks to their hypnotic live shows and influences from My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Sonic Youth.
Their self-titled debut EP (2007) received critical acclaim and was re-released several times, appearing on essential compilations. Their latest album, Heaven Is a Place (2016), was also acclaimed, with critics calling it a “long-awaited sermon”.
The band has toured North America and Europe, with prestigious collaborations and festivals to their credit. A new album is currently in preparation.
