Die Nerven

Founded in Esslingen in 2010, DIE NERVEN is no longer just considered one of the best live bands in the country twelve years later. After a deluge of digital releases unmatched in terms of creativity, FLUIDUM (Fin Du Monde/This Charming Man Records) was released in 2012, followed in 2014 by FUN (ibid.), considered by Jan Wigger (Spiegel Online) as “one of the most important and best German-language records of this decade”.

Always credible and remaining close to the underground, DIE NERVEN toured clubs and festivals (Roskilde, Melt!, Appletree Garden, Sziget, Eurosonic) in the following years, undertook a tour in Israel and was the first German-speaking band to be released on the American label Amphetamine Reptile Records, which marked the band’s style. In 2015, they released their third album OUT (Glitterhouse Records) and embarked on an extensive tour well beyond the German borders, resulting in their first live record LIVE IN EUROPA in June 2017. FAKE then, a chart success with the 13th place for the band, marked the breakthrough at the latest.

In 2022, the year of the release of their fifth self-titled album and their extensive tour, DIE NERVEN have become a fixture in the living regions of the music world – they feed it and make their mark on it!
