In 2021, after a four-year hiatus, General Lee’s post-hardcore was reborn with Juno.
“Juno” as in the patron goddess of Rome, but above all “Juno” in reference to one of the first tracks composed by the band General Lee in 2003. Juno’s first studio draft took the form of a four-track EP, The Shadows Lenghten, released on September 17, 2021 on Source Atone Records / Season of Mist. Between hardcore, post-rock and melodies supported by an ever more varied palette of vocals, all set in a universe inspired by fantasy literature and the planet’s perpetual struggle against the repeated attacks of its hosts.
3 years later, their debut album “Dragging Bodies to the Fall”, recorded, mixed and mastered by Francis Caste at Studio Sainte-Marthe (Hangman’s Chair, Regarde les hommes tomber, Pogo Car Crash Control…) will be released on March 15, 2024, still on the Source Atone Records / Season of Mist label.
