After breaking away from his former hardcore bands and in particular his last band Lingua Nada, Adam Abdelkader Lenox a.k.a ZOUJ, is now moving towards a completely different style of experimental and electronic music. Far from guitar music, Zouj explores and develops what he believes modern pop music could look like.
The magic ingredient of this artist, apart from his talent, lies in the heart of these collaborations. Lenox works with a growing network of musicians, photographers, directors, animators, toy makers and graphic designers to create a synthesis of sound, visuals, symbols, clothing and movement.
This multi-hatted artist evolves today in a strangely threatening and dancing universe with dystopian sounds that suits a glitch video game or an adult cartoon as well as a club.
In 2021, Zouj releases a few singles, 3 EPs and a 9 track mixtape called Tagat. His new EP “Metal EP” is now available on platforms.
